TAIPING: A 5-meter-long python that fell from a ceiling into a house in Taiping was quickly captured by a team from the Civil Defence Force (APM).

APM Team Responds Quickly

The Taiping local council reported on Facebook that the team, consisting of seven members, responded to the incident at a residence located on Jalan Ayer Puteh in Kg Dew, Kamunting, around 8 p.m. on Monday, November 25.

The Snake’s Surprising Descent

A video shared online showed the snake hanging from a hole in the ceiling, draped over a sofa. The post has gone viral with over 2,300 shares and more than 500 comments, many of which include netizens recounting their own snake experiences.

The APM Taiping team also posted an update.
“I’ve dealt with pythons entering my house three times,” said Noreen Faizah.
“We’ve caught four snakes so far with the help of our neighbors and Civil Defence and released them at the Pasir Panjang forest reserve in Port Dickson,” said Kay Layla JN.
“I felt like I was in the movie Anaconda,” said Wanie Gaban.
