Syed Saddiq Government Funds Soon to Be Disbursed
PETALING JAYA: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has indicated that government funds will soon be allocated following five rounds of discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
Compliance with Agreement Requirements
He stressed that he has no hesitation in signing a confidence and supply agreement (CSA) or a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and will meet all necessary conditions, including declaring his assets, as long as it benefits the people of Muar.
“If asset declaration is a requirement, I will comply. I was one of the first ministers to declare assets even before the elections, and I have no issue doing it yearly.
Syed Saddiq Plans for Welfare and Development
“This is all to ensure the well-being of Muar residents, and I hope positive news will follow soon so that aid and development programs can be rolled out without delay.
“If this agreement is finalized, I am confident everything will go smoothly. I welcome this process and extend my thanks to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Fadillah,” he said on Monday (March 10).
