SEPANG: A tragic crash in Cyberjaya claimed four lives after a vehicle veered off the road and collided with a road divider.
Details of the Accident and Investigation
Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman confirmed the accident, which occurred near IOI Conezion Putrajaya on Thursday (Nov 21). The car was traveling from Kajang when it lost control and struck the divider.
Postmortem and Investigation Process
“All four victims have been sent to Putrajaya Hospital for postmortem examination,” Norhizam stated. Investigations are currently underway, and police are requesting any witnesses to come forward.
Victim Details and Rescue Response
The victims were four Malaysians aged between 20 and 40, including two pregnant women and two men, as reported by Sinar Harian. Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Assistant Director of Operations at the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, informed Sinar Harian that when rescue personnel arrived, three of the victims were already deceased, and one woman was critically injured.
