KOTA TINGGI: A four-vehicle crash at Felda Penggeli on Friday morning, Jan 3, claimed the life of a motorcyclist. The accident, which occurred at 7:47 am, involved two Perodua Alza cars, a Proton Saga, and a Yamaha NVX motorcycle.
Firefighters Respond Quickly to the Scene
According to Bakhtiar Selamat, station chief of Bandar Tenggara Fire and Rescue Department, a team of 12 firefighters, led by senior officer II Ibrahim Ishak, arrived at the scene at 8:08 am, approximately 20 km from the fire station.
Victim Trapped Under Proton Saga
The motorcyclist, 24-year-old Muhammad Fareedzul Anuar, was found trapped underneath the Proton Saga. Firefighters utilized specialized equipment to recover his body, which was later handed over to the police for further investigation.
Other Vehicles’ Drivers Uninjured
The drivers of the other vehicles involved in the crash were unharmed. The rescue operation ended at 9:30 am.
