Malaysia Secures First Medal at Paris Olympics

Malaysia’s men’s doubles badminton team, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, known as the “Xie/Su” duo, have won the country’s first medal at the Paris Olympics, claiming bronze.

In a thrilling match, they defeated Denmark’s Astrup and Rasmussen with scores of 16-21, 22-20, and 21-19.

This achievement is historic as Chia and Soh become the first Malaysian men’s doubles team to win medals in consecutive Olympic Games.
